The next meeting of the ICI Global Regulated Funds Committee will be held virtually on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. US Eastern / 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. London.  A calendar invitation with details for the Zoom meeting has already been sent to you and the details are also provided below.

The preliminary agenda is attached.  We are pleased to announce that we have arranged for two informative sessions with guest speakers.  Vanessa Casano, Head of the Asset Management Regulatory Policy Division, Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and Chair of IOSCO Committee 5, will present on the upcoming work of IOSCO Committee 5.  She will also discuss the AMF’s views on the review of the AIFMD and its potential impact on UCITS.  Our second guest speaker is James O’Sullivan, Funds Policy Manager, from the Central Bank of Ireland, who will discuss what we can expect from the CBI with respect to funds in 2021.  

In addition, we will cover relevant EU regulatory and legislative developments, current international investing issues (including the US China sanctions), and areas to watch in 2021 on the global ESG front.
