Dates for the next SFDR Workshops: 1 December and 17 December, 2020. Based on your feedback, we are scheduling two more SFDR workshops – on 1 and 17 December, at 16:00 GMT/11 a.m. ET. (via Zoom platform). The information for the calls was distributed via calendar invitations. If you have not received a call invite and would like to join the call, please email me at adriggs@ici.org.
Attached to this memorandum are the workshop questions we collected so far, and highlighted questions indicate that we discussed them during prior workshops (although do let us know if you would like to revisit any of the previously-discussed questions). For the next call, we already heard from a couple of you that you would like to discuss questions regarding Article 6, so we will plan to start with that discussion on our 1 December call, but do let us know if you have additional questions you would like to focus on.
Question regarding BaFin ESG rule. We understand from at least one member that BaFin may roll out a rule about categorising funds marketed in Germany/into Germany as ‘sustainable’ or ESG. If you heard about this rule or are looking into this issue, please let us know. Separately, we already requested a call with BaFin on the SFDR implementation, and we are awaiting their response.
