November 17, 2020 TO: Advertising Compliance Advisory Committee RE: December 2 Call of the Advertising Compliance Advisory Committee-Request for Topics and Registration Instructions

 

The Committee will have its next quarterly conference call on Wednesday, December 2, from 2:00-3:30 p.m. Eastern Time.  If you would like to participate, please register for the call at https://cvent.me/4BnyOP. This is a new protocol for our scheduled quarterly calls.  Once registered, you will be able to access the meeting invitation and Microsoft Teams link/dial-in information.

We would appreciate it if you could provide us with any proposed agenda items (matt.thornton@ici.org) by Friday, November 27 (close of business).  Typically these are questions on which members seek feedback from their peers at other ICI member firms (e.g., whether other members have received certain comments from FINRA). 

We will send an agenda prior to the call.  During the call, the member who suggested an agenda item will pose that item for discussion. 

Please note that the value of these calls derives in large part from members identifying issues for the agenda and call participants being willing to actively discuss those issues.  Accordingly, I encourage each of you to submit agenda items and actively participate in the discussion.
