November 22, 1991 TO: INSURANCE BROKER-DEALER ADVISORY COMMITTEE NO. 11-91 RE: NOTICE OF MEETING - FEBRUARY 28, 1992 __________________________________________________________ This is to notify you that there will be a meeting of the Insurance Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee on Friday, February 28, 1992 at the Four Seasons Hotel located at 200 Boylston Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02116. The day will begin at 7:30 a.m. with continental breakfast and the meeting will follow at 8:00 a.m. Lunch will be served and the meeting is expected to continue until approximately 3:00 p.m. For your convenience, we have reserved a block of sleeping rooms at the Four Seasons Hotel for the night of Thursday, February 27, 1992 at the rates of $140.00 single and $160.00 double. To make room reservations for yourself, please call the hotel at 617/338-4400 by January 17 and ask for a room in the ICI Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee block. Massachusetts Financial Services Company will be hosting a cocktail reception and dinner party for committee members on the evening of Thursday, February 27, 1992 and Bruce Avery would like to invite all of you to attend. Cocktails will be served at 6:15 p.m. and will be followed by dinner at 6:45 p.m. in the Executive Dining Room located on the 24th Floor at the offices of Mass. Financial, 500 Boylston Street in Boston (a short walk from the Four Seasons Hotel). The tentative agenda for the February 28 meeting is as follows: o Presentation of a position paper on Group of 30 Clearance and Settlement recommendations by the G-30 Task Force o Presentation of a draft charter for the committee by Michael Cady, Carol Callahan, Claire Henderson and Ritz Rizzieri o Comparison of funds' legal requirements by Diane Baker, Sue DiFazio, Gay McCabe, Theresa Nurge-Awls and Linda Zawislak -2- o Presentation on the use of broker CRD# into Broker- Dealer and Mutual Funds Systems by Tom Hamblin, Penny Nelson, Mark Rizza and Ken Rickson A final agenda will be forwarded to you in mid-January. Should you want to add other items to the agenda, please contact me before that time (Bruce Avery - 617/954-5000). So that we will know who will attend the meeting and dinner, we ask that you complete the attached Meeting Registration Form and return it to Rita Pemberton no later then January 17.
