The next meeting of the Global Advocacy Coordination Advisory Committee will take place on 16 September, via Teams platform, with dial-in numbers available. 

The meeting invite was sent to the committee members via Outlook calendar.  Please let me know if you have not received it but would like to join the meeting, by email to adriggs@ici.org. 

Preliminary meeting agenda:

1. Update on our advocacy engagements during the summer, including ESG meetings with ESMA, EIOPA, AMF; COVID-themed meetings with CBI, CSSF, FCA and ESMA; meetings with national regulators re MiFID engagements; PEPP discussion with EIOPA.

2. Discussion of on-going and future advocacy priorities.

3. We also would like to have a member discussion on how you are engaging with EU and national policymakers and what processes you find most effective (e.g., Are you resuming in-person meetings, continuing with video calls). 

A more detailed agenda is to follow closer to the meeting time.  We also very much welcome your thoughts on the agenda and any discussion items.
