July 21, 2020 TO: EU ESG Disclosure Regulation Working Group RE: Member Survey on SFDR RTS "Adverse Impact" Indicators
As discussed on our last WG call, we are sending you a survey (via SurveyMonkey) to facilitate our response to the European Supervisory Authorities’ (ESAs) consultation on draft regulatory technical standards (RTS) for the EU's sustainable finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR).
Please contact us if you have not received the SurveyMonkey email with the link to the survey. A PDF of the survey is attached for your reference, but please submit your responses through the SurveyMonkey link. Also attached for your reference is a list of WG members, so that you can see who else from your firm has received the survey. Please only complete one survey for your firm. If your firm does not permit you to take SurveyMonkey surveys, please let us know and we can work with you to make other arrangements.
This survey has 13 questions and is focused on the list of “principal adverse impact” indicators in the draft RTS. The survey will be open for 2 weeks and will close on Tuesday, 4 August. In addition to using the results to inform our consultation response, we will share the aggregate, anonymized results with all WG members who participate in the survey. Please note you will only receive the results if your firm participates in the survey.
As next steps, we are planning to circulate a first draft of our response late next week (with a placeholder for the discussion of specific indicators), and then we’ll include the discussion of specific indicators in the second draft. We do not currently plan to hold another WG call, but we will schedule one if any major open issues come up that seem to require more WG discussion.
Thank you in advance for participating in the survey, and please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions!
