May 5, 2020 TO: Registered Fund CPO Advisory Committee RE: May 21 Call to Discuss CFTC Proposal on Revisions to Form CPO-PQR
As previously reported, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission has issued a proposal that would modify the periodic reporting requirements applicable to commodity pool operators (CPOs).[1] An ICI memorandum describing the proposal is available here.
This committee will have a call on May 21 at 2 pm Eastern to discuss the proposal and potential issues to address in ICI’s comment letter. Comments are due to the CFTC on June 15.
You will receive an Outlook appointment for the call. Please accept the appointment if you plan to attend, and please do not forward the appointment to persons outside your firm.
To facilitate the discussion, we plan to circulate a list of topics and questions to committee members on or before May 14.
