March 16, 2020 TO: Registered Fund CPO Advisory Committee RE: Agenda and Dial-In for March 19 CPO Committee Conference Call
As previously announced, ICI will hold a conference call for the Registered Fund CPO Advisory Committee on Thursday, March 19 from 1-2 pm Eastern.
We will begin the call with an opportunity for members to discuss any compliance issues and concerns relating to the current coronavirus situation.
Next, we will update the committee on a recent meeting between ICI President Paul Stevens and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Chairman Heath Tarbert regarding the agency’s regulatory priorities. We also plan to discuss ICI’s future engagement on issues affecting registered fund commodity pool operators (CPOs) and commodity trading advisors (CTAs). Other discussion topics will include anticipated CFTC rulemakings and recent National Futures Association developments of interest to registered fund CPOs and CTAs.
