The next in-person meeting of the ICI Global Regulated Funds Committee will be held on Monday, February 10, 2020.  The meeting will be held at the Institute’s offices in Washington, D.C. and the offices of T. Rowe Price in London.  The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time / 3:00 p.m. London time and will last until approximately 1:00 p.m. Eastern time / 6:00 p.m. London time.   Breakfast and lunch will be provided in Washington, DC, and light snacks in London.

Attached please find the agenda for the meeting.  We will have a presentation on asset management reforms in China and ways to access the Chinese market by Sandra Lu, partner at Llinks Law Offices.  We will also have a presentation on foreign investment in sensitive industries and large shareholder reporting in key jurisdictions around the world by Clare Godson and Rebecca Clayton of aosphere LLP (an affiliate of Allen & Overy).

Additionally, we will discuss various EU issues, including:

  • EC Consultation on Digital Operational Resilience for Financial Services
  • ESG/Sustainable Finance
  • SRD II/UK Stewardship Code
  • Liquidity Risk Management
  • Recent FCA Dear CEO Letters
  • EIOPA Pan-European Personal Pension Products Consultation
