The next in-person meeting of the ICI Global Regulated Funds Committee will be held on Monday, February 10, 2020.  The meeting will be held at the Institute’s offices in Washington, D.C. and the offices of T. Rowe Price in London.  The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time / 3:00 p.m. London time and will last until approximately 1:00 p.m. Eastern time / 6:00 p.m. London time.   Breakfast and lunch will be provided in Washington, DC, and light snacks in London.

We are pleased to announce that we have secured as a guest speaker, Sandra Lu, a China-based partner at Llinks Law Offices.  Ms. Lu will join us in London and will present on asset management reforms in China and ways to access the Chinese market.  In addition, we will also have as a presenter in London Clare Godson, executive director of aosphere LLP (an affiliate of Allen & Overy), who will update on foreign investment in “sensitive industries” and large shareholder reporting in key jurisdictions around the world.

A detailed agenda will be sent shortly; however, as is typical, we will also cover various legislative and regulatory developments in the EU and Asia.  If you have any suggestions for issues that you would like covered or would like to recommend a guest speaker, please contact us at your earliest convenience.
