The next in-person meeting of the ICI/ICI Global International Internal Audit Advisory Committee will be held in London on Wednesday, 22 April from 12:00 to approximately 17:00, followed by a networking reception. Claudio Gervasi of Capital Group has graciously agreed to host the meeting and reception at their office. At this time, I am just asking members to save the date in your diaries. As we get closer to the meeting, we will ask members to register so we have an accurate head count. 

In terms of meeting content, I am pleased to announce that we are expecting two outside presenters at the meeting. Elizabeth Sandwith, the Chief Professional Practices Adviser of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors, has agreed to present to the committee on the speed of change within audit and how auditors need to be forward thinking. Many thanks to Jitin Modha (TIAA) for recommending her! Our other speaker will address the new liquidity requirements and issues to consider in auditing for compliance with them. While we have two firms interested in presenting on this topic, we are in the process of determining which firm’s presentation would best address members’ interest in this issue. The remainder of the meeting’s agenda will be comprised of members’ issues.
