Please note that the next in-person meeting of ICI’s Internal Audit Committee is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28th in Charlotte, NC. Many thanks to Tamara Fowls of Barings who has graciously agreed to host the committee at her office! We plan to schedule the committee’s dinner the evening of April 27th. At this time, please just save these dates on your calendar.

Sometime in late February or early March, I will be reaching out to the members of the committee to solicit issues for the meeting’s agenda. Consistent with the discussion at our November 2019 meeting, once I have all such issues, I will survey the members planning to attend the meeting to have you vote on which issues you would like to have added to the agenda. I will also solicit information about your current audit “hot topics” so I can compile and distribute them prior to our meeting. 

I hope you’ll plan to join us for the April meeting. If you have any suggestions regarding the meeting, please do not hesitate to share them with me or the committee’s Chair, Jeffrey Coaxum of Brown Brothers Harriman (jeffrey.coaxum@bbh.com).
