As previously reported, the Securities and Exchange Commission issued a release proposing a three-part set of rules that would provide an updated approach to the regulation of funds’ use of derivatives and similar instruments.[1] An ICI Memorandum describing the proposal is available at: https://www.ici.org/my_ici/memorandum/memo32083.

ICI will have a 90-minute member call to discuss the proposal and potential comments on the proposal on Wednesday, December 11 beginning at 3:00 pm (Eastern Time).
