Technology Committee RE: Technology Committee Meeting - Save the Date & Hotel Reservations - October 28 & 29, 2019

 

The next meeting of ICI’s Technology Committee will take place on Monday, October 28 and Tuesday October 29, 2019 at the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20005. The Committee meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at approximately 3:00 p.m. each day.  A Committee dinner will be held the evening of October 28. Details on the dinner and meeting agenda are forthcoming. PLEASE REMEMBER TO SUBMIT YOUR DISCUSSION TOPICS FOR “SHOP TALK” ON THE ATTACHED FORM.

New Meeting Format

The ICI’s Technology Committee meeting will consist of two separate criteria for participation, one for each day. On October 28, the meeting is only open to Senior Technology Leaders (e.g. CIO, CTO, Global Head of Technology, etc.) that are responsible for the strategic technology thought leadership at their enterprise.

On October 29, the Technology Committee meeting is more broadly open to those that are on the ICI’s Technology Committee roster which includes Business Continuity professionals. Meeting discussions and presentations will be tailored accordingly.

Hotel Reservations

A block of rooms at the JW Marriott, 4200, 1331 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, DC (202) 393--2000 are reserved for Committee members for the evenings of October 27 & 28, 2019. The room rate is $299 single/double, please ask for a room in the Investment Company Institute’s room block. Rooms are limited. The hotel requires all reservations be guaranteed with a one night’s deposit by Monday, October 7, 2019 to receive the room block rate. Deposits are refundable if the hotel receives notice of cancellation at least 72 hours prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained.

Online Reservations

Please register for this committee meeting and dinner using our Cvent online registration at www.ici.org/reg/technology. Committee members (or their substitutes) electing to attend the dinner (on October 28) will pay the standard amount of $115.00 via credit card as part of the registration process.
