September 6, 2019 TO: International Internal Audit Advisory Committee RE: International Internal Audit Advisory Committee Meeting in London on 30 October; Please Register by Friday, 11 October
As we previously informed you, the next meeting of ICI’s International Internal Audit Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Wednesday, 30 October from 12:00-17:15. Lunch will be served and an informal reception of the Committee will be held immediately following the meeting. Many thanks to Committee member David Kelly of Vanguard, who has agreed to host us. In terms of the meeting agenda, in addition to discussing members issues, we have arranged to have presentations regarding: what internal auditors should be thinking about in connection with the cessation of LIBOR; enhancing the readability of audit reports; and the Deutsche Börse Cloud Audit Consortium.
As you know, there is no charge for attending the meeting but we would like members planning to attend to register so we have an accurate head count for meeting materials, lunch, and the reception. For this meeting, we have a capacity limit of 30 and we will accept RSVPs on a first-come, first-serve basis. Accordingly, we encourage members to register sooner rather than later to be guaranteed a seat at the meeting! You may register through this link: www.ici.org/reg/iiac. Please register no later than Friday, 11 October. Meeting details will only be provided to those members who register.
I hope you will be able join us for the meeting. If not, please remember that we meet twice each year so our next meeting should take place in spring 2020. Once we set the date for that meeting, we will let you know so you can save it on your diary.
I look forward to seeing members at the meeting! If you have any questions about it or this Committee, or if we can be of any assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact the Committee Chair, Jason Melnyk (Neuberger Berman) in London by phone (44 20 7355 7222) or email (jason.melnyk@nb.com) or me in Washington, DC by phone (202-326-5825) or email (tamara@ici.org).
