Pension Operations Advisory Committee SUBJECTS: Pension RE: ICI Recommendations for 2019-2020 Treasury/IRS Priority Guidance Plan--Retirement Plan Items

 

The Institute submitted the attached letter, requesting that the Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service include guidance on certain issues concerning retirement security on their 2019-2020 Priority Guidance Plan.  ICI submitted a separate letter with recommendations concerning regulated investment companies and their shareholders. 

The letter asks for guidance relating to the following matters: 

• Final regulations under Code section 411(a)(11);

• Modifications to the Employee Plans Compliance Resolution System;

• 403(b) plan termination; and

• Application of the one-per-year limit on IRA rollovers.
