Pension Operations Advisory Committee SUBJECTS: Pension RE: IRS and Treasury Invite Comments on 2019-2020 Priority Guidance Plan
In Notice 2019-30,[1] the IRS and Treasury Department invite public comment on recommendations for items to be included on the 2019-2020 Priority Guidance Plan. The 2019-2020 Priority Guidance Plan will identify guidance projects that the Treasury Department and IRS intend to actively work on as priorities during the period from July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020. Recommendations should be submitted by June 7, 2019 for possible inclusion on the initial Priority Guidance Plan, which the Treasury Department and IRS periodically update throughout the year.
The Institute plans to submit a comment letter recommending retirement plan items by June 7, 2019.[2] If you have any suggestions for retirement plan items to be included in our comment letter, please contact the undersigned at elena.chism@ici.org or 202-326-5821 by Wednesday, May 15.
