As we approach mid-year 2019, we wanted to provide you with the remaining dates for this year’s SEC Rules Committee meetings. Please register for the summer meeting via the provided link, and reserve the fall meeting date on your calendar.
Registration Now Open – June 26th Meeting
The next meeting of the SEC Rules Committee is scheduled for Wednesday, June 26th. We are pleased to announce that our guest speaker will be Brent Fields, Associate Director of Disclosure Review and Accounting in the SEC’s Division of Investment Management. A draft meeting agenda will be circulated prior to the meeting date.
The meeting will take place at the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, NW, Washington, DC, in the David Silver Conference Room on the 12th Floor, 12:00 noon – 3:30 pm Eastern time. Lunch will be available at 11:30 am. In addition, participation by videoconference will be available from two off-site locations, with lunch being served in both locations:

For those members attending the June meeting in-person in Washington, DC, we plan to hold a dinner with ICI staff the evening of Tuesday, June 25th. If you plan to attend the dinner, please register to attend via the link above no later than June14th, as seating is available on a first-come first-serve basis. Dinner attendees will be charged $115.00. Please note that if you cancel within 72 hours of the dinner, your payment will not be refunded.
Mark Your Calendar – October 24th In-Person Meeting
The fall meeting of the SEC Rules Committee is scheduled for Thursday, October 24th, at ICI’s offices at 1401 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20005. Please note that this is our annual in-person meeting in Washington, DC, and participation by videoconference will not be available. The meeting will begin at 9:00 am ET and will conclude no later than 3:30 pm. Breakfast and lunch will be served. We plan to hold a member dinner the evening of Wednesday, October 23rd.
