June 20 and 21 Tax Committee Meetings in Seattle, WA

Tax Committee RE: June 20 and 21 Tax Committee Meetings in Seattle, WA

 

The next meetings of the ICI Tax Committee will be on Thursday, June 20 and Friday, June 21 in Seattle, WA.  Russell Investments will host the meetings at their offices, located at 1301 Second Avenue, 18th Floor, Seattle, Washington, 98101.

The meeting on Thursday, June 20 will begin at 2:00 p.m.  The meeting on Friday, June 21 will begin at 9:00 a.m.  Lunch will be served both days; breakfast will be available on Friday. 

Hotel Information

A hotel room block (at a group rate of $239 plus applicable taxes) has been reserved at the Sheraton Grand Seattle, 1400 6th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101.  To reserve a room at this hotel, you may register online here or call 1-800-204-6100 or 206-621-9000.  Please identify yourself as a member of the Investment Company Institute.  Reservations must be made before the cut-off date on Thursday, May 30, 2019 to receive the ICI rate.

Committee Dinner/Baseball Game

As in prior years, the ICI has procured tickets to a baseball game (Seattle Mariners vs. Baltimore Orioles) for the evening of Thursday, June 20 at 7:10 pm PST.  Alternatively, we are arranging dinner at a nearby restaurant.  Details for the dinner will be provided soon.  Members who attend the dinner will be charged a pro rata portion of the total cost of the dinner after the meeting.

Additional information regarding the June committee dinner, baseball game, meeting agendas, etc., will be distributed as soon as the information becomes available.  

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credit

Meeting attendees are eligible for approximately 7.00 hours of CPE credit (Taxation). The Investment Company Institute is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (“NASBA”) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
