If you have not yet done so, please register at your earliest convenience for this year’s annual joint meeting of ICI and the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) and the dinner for the ICI Global Regulated Funds Committee and international guests, which will take place on April 30. As you can see on the attached preliminary agenda, in addition to updating on US and EU policy priorities, we will cover various interesting and informative topics, including (1) industry developments and trends – with a focus and active and passive funds, (2) distribution concerns for regulated funds, and (3) ESG developments.
Additionally, ICI’s General Membership Meeting (GMM) will take place on May 1-3 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel.
Tuesday, April 30
ICI/EFAMA Joint Meeting: The annual joint meeting of ICI and EFAMA will be held on Tuesday, April 30. The meeting will be held at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, located at 2660 Woodley Road, NW, Washington, DC 20008. The meeting will begin at 8 a.m. and will conclude by 1:30 p.m. Breakfast will be available before the meeting, and lunch will be served during the meeting. Member associations of the International Investment Funds Association (IIFA) and ICI’s International Operations Advisory Committee are also invited to join this meeting.
International Dinner: The annual dinner with international guests attending GMM will take place that evening, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The dinner will be held at District Kitchen, located at 2606 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20008. The restaurant is a short walk from the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel.

Wednesday – Friday, May 1-3
General Membership Meeting and Other Conferences: ICI’s General Membership Meeting as well as the Mutual Funds Compliance Programs Conference, the Operations and Technology Conference and the IDC’s Fund Directors Workshop will be held on May 1-3 (Wednesday – Friday) at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. As in prior years, attendees that register for GMM will have access to GMM as well as the other conferences. This combination of events provides exceptional opportunities to hear from experts and industry leaders on a variety of topics. Additional information about GMM is available at http://gmm.ici.org/.
Hotel: GMM registrants may make reservations at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel at the special conference rate of $364 single per night plus taxes, based upon availability. Hotel rooms are available at this rate until April 1.
