The Global Retirement Savings Committee is hosting a webinar on the OECD’s two publications, the 2018 Pensions Outlook[1] and Financial Incentives and Retirement Savings[2].  The OECD speakers also will discuss trends in defined contribution pension reforms and implications for our industry.  Participation is complimentary.  Your questions are welcome and are encouraged.  (A recording of the webinar will be available after the webinar). 

Speakers and Topics

We are pleased to have two guest speakers from the OECD: 

  • Pablo Antolin-Nicolas, Principal Economist and the Head of the Private Pension Unit, Deputy Head of the Financial Affairs Division, and
  • Stephanie Payet, Private Pension Analyst, Financial Affairs Division. 

Mr. Antolin also manages the work of the Working Party on Private Pensions, a group of national pension regulators from OECD member countries.  

Our speakers will provide an overview of both reports, with a focus on the 2018 Pensions Outlook, which includes analysis of (globally):

  • The role of supplementary pension provision in retirement globally,
  • Design of financial incentives to promote savings for retirement across the globe,
  • Pension costs in the accumulation phase, and
  • How to improve retirement incomes considering behavioral biases and limited financial knowledge.
