As you know, the February meeting of the SEC Rules Committee was canceled due to a winter storm in Washington, DC.  That meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019.  We are very pleased that SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce is available to join us to discuss the SEC’s priorities in the investment management area.

The meeting will take place at the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, NW, Washington, DC, in the David Silver Conference Room on the 12th Floor, 12:00 noon – 3:30 pm Eastern time.  Lunch will be available at 11:30 am.  In addition, participation by videoconference will be available from two off-site locations:

Capital Research & Management
333 South Hope Street
Los Angeles, CA 90071
9:00 am – 12:30 pm (Pacific)

UBS Tower
1 North Wacker Drive
34th Floor Board Room Chicago, IL 60606
11:00 am – 2:30 pm (Central)

Lunch will be served following the meeting in Los Angeles, and during the meeting in Chicago.

We recognize that some members may be unable to travel to this meeting, either in Washington, DC, or at the off-site locations, due to the rescheduling of the meeting.  Accordingly, we will provide dial-in access to those members who indicate on their registration that they will need to participate by phone.

If you plan to attend the meeting, please register at www.ici.org/reg/sec. Please indicate if you will be attending the meeting in Washington, DC, Los Angeles, or Chicago, or if you will need to participate in the meeting by phone.  Please also provide any additional suggestions for meeting agenda topics upon registration.  A draft agenda will be circulated closer to the meeting date.

For those members attending the meeting in person in Washington, DC, we plan to hold a dinner with ICI staff the evening of Tuesday, April 2nd.  If you plan to attend the dinner, please register to attend via the link above no later than March 26, 2019, as seating is available on a first-come first-serve basis.  Dinner attendees will be charged $115.00.  Please note that if you cancel within 72 hours of the dinner, your payment will not be refunded.

We look forward to your participation!  We appreciate your flexibility regarding the rescheduling of this meeting.
