January 28, 2019 TO: SEC Rules Committee RE: Reminder:  SEC Rules Committee Meeting on February 20, 2019 - Draft Agenda Attached

 

The next meeting of the SEC Rules Committee has been scheduled for Wednesday, February 20th, 2019.  We are pleased to have as our guest speaker SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce, who will discuss the SEC’s priorities in the investment management area.  A draft agenda for the meeting is attached. 

The meeting will take place at the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, NW, Washington, DC, in the David Silver Conference Room on the 12th Floor, 12:00 noon – 3:30 pm Eastern time.  Lunch will be available at 11:30 am.  In addition, participation by videoconference will be available from two off-site locations:

Lunch will be served following the meeting in Los Angeles, and during the meeting in Chicago. 

If you plan to attend the meeting at any of the meeting sites, please register at www.ici.org/reg/sec.  Please provide any additional suggestions for meeting agenda topics upon registration.  A final agenda and materials for the meeting will be circulated prior to the meeting. 

For those members attending the meeting in person in Washington, DC, we plan to hold a dinner with ICI staff the evening of Tuesday, February 19th.  If you plan to attend the dinner, please register to attend via the link above no later than Friday, February 8th, as seating is available on a first-come first-serve basis.  Dinner attendees will be charged $115.00.  Please note that if you cancel within 72 hours of the dinner, your payment will not be refunded.
