Committee Meeting
The next meeting of the Closed-End Investment Company Committee will take place on Tuesday, November 13. This in-person meeting will be held at the offices of PIMCO and Allianz Global Investors, 1633 Broadway, 45th Floor, New York, New York 10019. The meeting will begin at 2:00 pm EST and should end no later than 5:00 pm EST.

We are pleased to have the following guest speakers join us:
- Paul Cellupica, Deputy Director and Chief Counsel, Division of Investment Management, SEC, and Michael Spratt, Assistant Director, Division of Investment Management, SEC (to discuss the SEC Division of Investment Management’s closed-end fund initiatives and to receive industry feedback); and
- Christopher M. Hayden, Senior Managing Director, Georgeson, LLC (to discuss shareholder activist activity).

Dinner
Members also are encouraged to attend the committee dinner after the meeting beginning at 7:30 pm EST at Bobby Van’s Grill & Steakhouse. If you plan to attend, please register using the link above for the committee meeting. Dinner attendees will be charged $120. Please note that if you cancel within 72 hours of the dinner, your payment will not be refunded.
Closed-End Fund Conference
Please also note that the ICI will be holding the 2018 Closed-End Fund Conference on Wednesday, November 14 at the Convene Conference Center located at 32 Old Slip, New York, NY. The conference will feature industry experts discussing the most recent regulatory and market developments affecting closed-end funds.
