International Internal Audit Advisory Committee RE: ICI Global Internal Audit Committee Will Meet in London on 31 October from 12:00-17:00 Followed by Networking Reception

 

As you may recall, the next in-person meeting of the International Internal Audit Advisory Committee will be held in London on Wednesday, 31 October from 12:00 to approximately 17:00, followed by a reception. Valeria Locatelli and Ben West of M&G have graciously agreed to host the meeting and reception. While there is no charge to attend this event, we ask members planning to attend to register for it no later than Friday, 5 October so we have an accurate tally for meeting planning purposes. The agenda for the meeting is expected to include a presentation from an outside speaker on agile auditing and how it can enhance the effectiveness/efficiency of the internal audit function.  We are also planning to have discussions of: members’ inspection experiences; issues posed by members for discussion; and members’ audit successes/challenges since our last meeting.  If there are issues that you would like to pose for discussion at the meeting, please provide them when you register for the meeting. Closer to the meeting date, I will be in touch by email with the members who have registered to provide the agenda and additional detail about the meeting’s logistics. 

Like our previous meetings, lunch will be served to attendees. We have also scheduled a reception following the meeting to enable members to network informally. Accordingly, please plan to join us for this reception.
