We would like to encourage you to register as soon as possible for the upcoming meeting and dinner of the ICI Global Regulated Funds Committee, which is taking place on May 21 in Washington, DC. Additionally, ICI’s General Membership Meeting (GMM) will be held this year at the Washington Hilton Hotel on May 22-24. Please register for the events you are able to attend at your earliest convenience.
Monday, May 21
ICI/EFAMA Joint Meeting: The annual joint meeting of the Regulated Funds Committee and the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) will be held on Monday, May 21. The meeting will be held at the Washington Hilton Hotel, 1919 Connecticut Ave., NW, Washington, DC, 20009 from 12:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Lunch will be served prior to the meeting, beginning at noon. Member associations of the International Investment Funds Association (IIFA) and ICI’s International Operations Advisory Committee members are also invited to join this meeting. The meeting covers current financial regulatory reforms impacting funds and managers, typically with a focus on the United States and Europe. A detailed agenda will be provided at a later date.

International Dinner: The annual dinner for Regulated Funds Committee members and international guests will follow the ICI/EFAMA meeting. It will be held at the Darlington House Restaurant, 1610 20th St, NW, Washington, DC, 20009, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The restaurant is a short walk from the Washington Hilton Hotel.

Tuesday – Thursday, May 22-24
General Membership Meeting and Other Conferences: ICI’s General Membership Meeting, as well as the Mutual Funds Compliance Programs Conference, the Operations and Technology Conference and the IDC’s Fund Directors Workshop will be held on May 22-24 at the Washington Hilton Hotel. As in prior years, attendees that register for GMM will have access to all of these conferences. This combination of events provides exceptional opportunities to hear from experts and industry leaders on a variety of topics.
Once again, we have a very exciting program. Confirmed speakers for this year include (1) James Gorman, Chairman and CEO, Morgan Stanley, and (2) David M.
