ICI will host a committee conference call on Tuesday, April 17 from 1-2 pm Eastern.
On this call, we will provide members with a recap of ICI’s recent meetings with CFTC Chairman Giancarlo, Commissioner Benham, and DSIO Director Matt Kulkin. We will then discuss the formation of a working group to develop regulatory proposals relating to CFTC Rule 4.5 and its implications for registered fund advisers.
A draft agenda highlighting these and other discussion topics is attached. If you would like to propose additional topics, please let me know by COB this Friday, April 13.
You will receive an Outlook appointment for this call. If you plan to participate on the call, please accept the appointment. Having an accurate head count will help us avoid a situation in which there are not enough lines for all participants.
