Compliance Advisory Committee RE: Next In-Person Meeting of ICI's CCO Committee to be Held in Washington, DC, on May 22

 

The next in-person meeting of ICI’s Chief Compliance Officer Committee will be held at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC, on Tuesday, May 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The meeting will be held immediately prior to the start of the ICI’s Compliance Programs Conference, which will be held on May 23-24. 

CCO Committee Meeting

While there is no charge to attend the CCO Committee meeting, we ask members to register no later than Friday, May 11 so we know how many attendees to expect. To register, please use this link: www.ici.org/reg/cco. When registering, please submit any issues/topics you’d like to have discussed at the meeting, as those issues will be the focus of the meeting’s agenda. A draft agenda will be provided to participants in early May.

As is the tradition with our May meeting, the last hour of the meeting will consist of an informal dialogue with the staff of the SEC. I am extending invitations to the staff of OCIE, the Division of Investment Management, and Enforcement. 

Compliance Programs Conference

As noted above, this year’s conference will be held May 22-24. If you plan to attend the conference, you must register for it separately. The cost to members is $1500, which includes access to the Compliance Conference, General Membership Meeting (which begins Tuesday after our committee meeting ends), Operations & Technology Conference, and Fund Directors Workshop.
