An in-person meeting of the Equity Markets Advisory Committee is scheduled for Tuesday, February 13, 2018.  The meeting will be held at Capital Group’s office in New York, NY (630 Fifth Avenue, 36th Floor).  The meeting will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time and should conclude no later than 5:00 p.m.  Lunch will be served.

Guest Speaker

We are pleased to announce that Brett Redfearn, Director of the Division of Trading and Markets, SEC, will join the meeting in addition to the following guests:

  • Brian Smith, Director, US Department of Treasury, to discuss the Treasury report on capital markets;
  • Steve Cavoli, Senior Vice President, Virtu, to discuss US and EU market color; and
  • Lisa Bloomberg, Principal Director, Accenture, to discuss MiFID II implementation.
