Committee Meeting 

The next meeting of the ICI Global Trading and Markets Committee has been scheduled for Monday, 4 December.  The meeting will be held at the offices of Vanguard Asset Management, Limited, 4th Floor, The Walbrook Building, 25 Walbrook, London EC4N 8AF.  The meeting will be from 13:00 to 17:00.  There will be a dial-in option for members located in North America and in Asia.  

The draft agenda is attached.  We are pleased to have the following guest speakers at the meeting: 

  • John Siena, Associate General Counsel, Brown Brothers Harriman, to discuss Bond UCITS Connect;
  • Agnes Le-Thiec, Policy Officer, European Commission, to discuss the report of the EC’s Expert Group on Corporate Bond Market Liquidity;
  • Vanessa Casano, Deputy Head of the Asset Management Regulation Division, Regulatory Policy and International Affairs Directorate, AMF, and Co-Chair of C5 Work on Leverage, to discuss IOSCO’s work on leverage measurements;
  • Monica Gogna, Partner, Dechert LLP, to brief the committee on delegation and dealing commissions under MiFID II; and
  • Michael Aldridge and Francis Land, IHS Markit, to discuss research product offerings with MiFID II.
