October 4, 2017 TO: Chief Compliance Officer Committee RE: Registration Open for December 8 Chief Compliance Officer Committee Meeting and December 7 Dinner

As you may recall, the next meeting of the Institute’s Chief Compliance Officer Committee will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 8 at ICI’s office, 1401 H St. NW.  While there is no cost to attend the Committee meetings, you must register to attend. You may register through the following link: www.ici.org/reg/cco. At the time of registration you will be asked to provide input regarding the meeting agenda.

Please note that, consistent with our previous practice, a dinner will be held the night before the meeting – on December 7, beginning with drinks at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7:00 p.m. There will be a charge of $105 for the dinner. You may register and pre-pay for the dinner through the above link.

Our meeting will follow two of ICI’s fall conferences – the Cybersecurity Forum on December 6 and the Securities Law Developments Conference on December 7. More information about these conferences can be found through the events page on our website here: https://www.ici.org/events. Both these conferences will be held near ICI at the Washington Marriott Marquis at 901 Massachusetts Ave NW (about a 10-15 minute walk from ICI’s office where our Friday meeting will be held). The conference room block ($269/night plus tax) there continues through Thursday night so you are welcome to stay there, even if the only event you are attending is our committee meeting. You can find more information about the hotel here: https://www.ici.org/events/info/conf_17_seclaw_hotel.

If you have any questions about the meeting or the registration process, please contact me by phone (202-326-5825) or e-mail (tamara@ici.org). I look forward to seeing each of you at the meeting in December!
