The next in-person meeting of the ICI Global International Internal Audit Advisory Committee will be held in London on Monday, October 30th from 12:30 to approximately 16:30, followed by a networking reception. Rupert Nottidge, the Group Head of Internal Audit at Schroders has graciously agreed to host the meeting and reception. While there is no charge to attend this event, we ask members planning to attend the meeting to register for it no later than Friday, October 6th so we have an accurate tally for meeting-planning purposes. The draft agenda for the meeting is attached. You will see that we are expecting a member of the FCA’s staff to present to the group on the Senior Managers Regime. Unlike our meeting in April 2017, where the FCA speaker was unable to present to us due to purdah, we are not expecting a similar conflict in October! You will note that the agenda includes a discussion of members’ issues. If you have issues now that you would like to pose for discussion at the meeting, you may include them on the registration form. Closer to the meeting date, I will be in touch by email with persons who register to attend the meeting to provide them additional detail about the meeting’s logistics and seek discussion issues for this portion of the meeting.
Like our previous meetings, lunch will be served to attendees. Unlike our previous meetings we have scheduled a reception following the meeting to enable members to network informally. Accordingly, please plan to join us for this reception.
