The next meeting of the Variable Insurance Products Advisory Committee will take place on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, NW, 12th Floor, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time in the 12th Floor Conference Room and should conclude no later than 2:30 p.m. Lunch will be served. Please note that this meeting is in person and we will not have a dial-in option available.
We are pleased to have two sets of guest speakers at our meeting. Bill Kotapish, Assistant Director, and Harry Eisenstein, Senior Special Counsel, in the SEC’s Division of Investment Management, will join us to discuss recent SEC initiatives in the insurance products area. Jeffrey Puretz, Partner, and James Catano, Associate, from Dechert LLP, will join us to discuss recent developments related to substitution applications. We have a great agenda and hope you will be able to join us!
