The next meeting of the Closed-End Investment Company Committee will take place this Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, NW, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 12:00 noon and end at approximately 3:00 pm. Lunch will be served prior to the meeting.
A final agenda for the meeting is attached. Frank J. Maresca, Executive Vice President at AST Fund Solutions, LLC, and James F. Burke, Vice President-Research, AST Fund Solutions, LLC, will discuss closed-end fund trends and activist investors. James M. Curtis, former Branch Chief in the Office of Chief Counsel, Division of Investment Management at the Securities and Exchange Commission, also will present his views on the closed-end fund industry.
