The next meeting of the Closed-End Investment Company Committee will take place on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, NW, Washington, DC. The meeting is scheduled for 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm (Eastern Time). Lunch will be served prior to the meeting.
We are pleased that Frank J. Maresca, Executive Vice President at AST Fund Solutions, LLC, and James F. Burke, Vice President-Research, AST Fund Solutions, LLC, will discuss closed-end fund trends and activist investors. We also are pleased to have James M. Curtis, former Branch Chief in the Office of Chief Counsel, Division of Investment Management at the Securities and Exchange Commission, present his views on the closed-end fund industry.
