Fund Accounting & Financial Reporting RE: Videos of MFIM Conference Panels on Enhanced Fund Reporting and Liquidity Risk Management Program Rules Now Available

 

As part of ICI’s initiative to assist members prepare for and comply with the SEC’s new reporting modernization and liquidity risk management program rules, we are posting to our member resources centers videos of recent panel presentations on each topic.  The ICI’s 2017 Mutual Funds and Investment Management Conference panel presentations feature as speakers prominent industry members, knowledgeable outside counsel, SEC staff and ICI staff.  They delve into compliance, risk and legal issues associated with implementing the new rules, as well as certain frequently asked questions related to them.[1] 

In addition to the videos, other new materials have been added to each resource center.  (Please note that members must be signed in to the ICI website to have full access to the offerings on these pages.)  The reporting modernization resource center now includes links to proposed frequently asked questions and responses that ICI has submitted to the SEC staff, as well as questions and answers that ICI along with its Enhanced Fund Reporting Working Group have compiled but have not submitted to the SEC staff.  The liquidity risk management program resource center now includes links to all working group call agendas, along with the February 2017 webinar that provides an overview of the new liquidity requirements.  

We encourage all ICI members to utilize the resource centers.  Each resource center contains relevant materials that will assist members in understanding the topic and implementing the new requirements.  Items include: links to SEC releases and other regulatory materials; ICI comment letters and memoranda to members; questions members have asked related to the rules; conference materials and links to the audio or video of several panels; and archived webinars.
