Draft Agenda for February 9th SEC Rules Committee Meeting

As you know, the next meeting of the SEC Rules Committee has been scheduled for Thursday, February 9th.  We are pleased to announce that our guest speakers for this meeting will be Dan Gallagher, President, and Ben Brown, Managing Director, of Patomak Global Partners, LLC, who will share their perspectives on what the mutual fund industry might expect during the first 100 days of the Trump administration and beyond.  We will also be joined by Marguerite Bateman, of Schiff Hardin, LLP, who will discuss the implications of the recent ruling on attorney-client privilege in the PIMCO section 36(b) case for interactions with fund boards.

The meeting will take place at the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., Washington, D.C., in the David Silver Conference Room on the 12th Floor, 12:00 noon – 3:30 pm Eastern time.  Lunch will be available at 11:30 am.  In addition, participation by videoconference will be available at:
