TO: DERIVATIVES MARKETS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 51-16 RE: REGISTER FOR DERIVATIVES MARKETS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 20
An in-person meeting of the Derivatives Markets Advisory Committee is scheduled for Thursday, October 20 at ICI’s office in Washington, D.C. (1401 H Street NW). The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will conclude at 2:00 p.m. Breakfast (beginning at 9:30 a.m.) and lunch will be served. Please be aware that there will be no video conference or conference call option for this meeting.
Guest Speakers
We are pleased to have the following guest speakers at the meeting:
- Felton Booker, Banking Supervision & Regulation, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (to discuss Fed’s proposal on stay of early termination rights);
- Leigh Frasier and David Sullivan, Ropes & Gray (for a briefing on SEC’s final rules on data reporting and liquidity management); and
- Christian Sabella, Associate Director, Division of Trading and Markets, SEC (to discuss the status of SEC’s Title VII rulemaking).
We also are confirming whether swap dealers and their counsel can join the meeting to discuss implementation of the margin rules for uncleared derivatives.
