NEW PROCEDURES FOR SECURITIES REGISTRATION IN NEBRASKA BECOME EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 6

August 21, 1991 TO: STATE SECURITIES MEMBERS NO. 36-91 RE: NEW PROCEDURES FOR SECURITIES REGISTRATION IN NEBRASKA BECOME EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 6 __________________________________________________________ As we previously informed you, legislation which amends Nebraska's indefinite registration provision for mutual funds will become effective September 6, 1991 (See Memorandum to Board of Governors No. 23-91 and to State Securities Members No. 16-91, dated April 15, 1991). The Nebraska Bureau of Securities is currently working on written procedures which will implement the revisions to the statute. Although formal written procedures are not ready for circulation, the Institute has received the attached instructions for registration and renewal of registration which should be followed beginning September 6, 1991.
