TO: VARIABLE INSURANCE PRODUCTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 11-16 RE: REMINDER - IN-PERSON VARIABLE INSURANCE PRODUCTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING ON JUNE 9; PRELIMARY AGENDA ATTACHED
The next meeting of the Variable Insurance Products Advisory Committee will take place next Thursday, June 9, 2016, at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 12:00 p.m. Eastern time in the 12th Floor Conference Room and should conclude no later than 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be served beginning at 11:30 am. Please note that this meeting is in person and we will not have a dial-in option available.
We are pleased to have two sets of guest speakers at our meeting. Bill Kotapish, Assistant Director, and Harry Eisenstein, Senior Special Counsel, in the SEC’s Division of Investment Management, will join us to discuss recent SEC initiatives in the insurance products area. Mary Jane Wilson-Bilik and Susan Krawcyk, Partners at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP, will join us to discuss recent regulatory developments impacting variable insurance products. We have a great agenda, and hope you will be able to join us!
