TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE No. 7-16 RE: ICI GLOBAL CYBERSECURITY FORUM AND INFORMATION SECURITY OFFICER COMMITTEE MEETING, JUNE 14 & 15

 

The next one day ICI Global Cybersecurity Forum will be held in London on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. The Cybersecurity Forum will bring together a diverse group of cybersecurity experts from government, law enforcement, consultants, and attorneys. This is not a technology conference but rather a unique opportunity for members of your staff to get firsthand information on best practices concerning threats, threat intelligence, mitigation strategies, risk assessments, and elements of a robust information security program. I encourage compliance, risk, internal audit, legal, fund trustees as well as technologists to attend this valuable event.

In addition, the next ICI Global Information Security Officer Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 15 in London. The meeting will be held at Capital Group Companies Global, 40 Grosvenor Place, London SW1X 7GG. The meeting will commence at 9:00AM and conclude at 3:00PM. There will be a Committee dinner the evening of June 14. Details on the meeting agenda are forthcoming. PLEASE REMEMBER TO SUBMIT YOUR DISCUSSION TOPICS FOR “SHOP TALK” ON THE ATTACHED FORM.

DINNER

There will be a Committee dinner the evening of June 14. A reception will begin at 6:00 followed by dinner at 6:30PM at Paternoster Chop House, Warwick Court, London EC4M 7DX. Committee members (or their substitutes) electing to attend the committee dinner will pay the standard amount of $105.00 via credit card as part of the registration process.
