TO: TAX COMMITTEE No. 33-15 RE: EU RECLAIMS - TRANSLATIONS OF U.S. SECURITIES LAWS INTO POLISH

Sworn Polish translations of the Investment Company Act and Investment Advisers Act are now available.  These are two of the four U.S. laws that have been identified by the Polish tax authorities as being necessary for their Article 63 comparability analysis to move forward. The translations can be found on the Tax Committee’s webpage or at the direct links below.

We have been advised that, due to their size, the translations of the Securities Act and Securities Exchange Act are ongoing.  We have been told that the translation for Securities Act will be available by the end of October and that the Securities Exchange Act will be available in middle of November. Ten ICI members have so far agreed to share the costs of these translations.  If you are interested in participating in the cost sharing, please contact me at at ryan.lovin@ici.org or 202-326-5826.
