TO: REGISTERED FUND CPO ADVISORY COMMITTEE RE: IMPORTANT REGISTRATION AND HOTEL INFORMATION: REGISTERED FUND CPO ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING IN CHICAGO
As previously announced, the Registered Fund CPO Advisory Committee will hold its fall meeting in Chicago on October 26-27. Space is limited for this meeting, so please register as soon as possible if you have not already done so. Registration and hotel reservation information is summarized below, and a draft meeting agenda is attached. Please note that the deadline for hotel reservations has been extended to this Friday, October 9.
The Registered Fund CPO Advisory Committee will meet on Tuesday, October 27 at the offices of Nuveen Investments (333 W. Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60606). The meeting will begin at 9 am Central and conclude at 12:30 pm Central. Breakfast (beginning at 8:30 am) and a working lunch will be served.
Joining us for parts of the meeting will be senior officials of the National Futures Association and Cary Meer, a partner at K&L Gates LLP. Please see the draft agenda for additional details.
An informal dinner for meeting attendees will be held on Monday, October 26 at 6:30 pm at Piccolo Sogno Duo (340 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60654). Attendees staying at Hotel Monaco (see below) may wish to gather in the lobby for the Monaco’s complimentary wine reception, which takes place from 5-6 pm, and then walk to the restaurant. The dinner charge for each participant will be $105.00. Should you need to cancel your registration for the dinner, please do so no later than October 20 to ensure that you will receive a refund.
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hotel Monaco (225 North Wabash Avenue, Chicago, IL 60601) for the night of October 26 at a rate of $269.00. You may make your reservation online at Investment Company Institute. Alternatively, you may call the hotel at 1-800-546-7866 and mention the Investment Company Institute to receive the discounted rate. There are a limited number of rooms, and the discounted rate is only available until this Friday, October 9. Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance to avoid penalty.
