TO: REGISTERED FUND CPO ADVISORY COMMITTEE RE: REGISTER NOW: REGISTERED FUND CPO ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING AND DINNER, OCTOBER 26 - 27 IN CHICAGO, IL

 

An in-person meeting of the Registered Fund CPO Advisory Committee will be held in Chicago on Tuesday, October 27 at the offices of Nuveen Investments (333 W. Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60606).  The meeting will begin at ­­­­­­­9 am Central and conclude at 12:30 pm Central.  Breakfast (beginning at 8:30 am) and lunch will be served.  Please be aware that there will be no video conference or conference call option for this meeting.

We are pleased to announce that senior officials of the National Futures Association will join us for part of the meeting.  We will circulate a draft agenda closer to the meeting date.

We also will host an informal dinner for meeting attendees on Monday, October 26.

Details on how to register for the meeting and/or dinner and to reserve a hotel room are provided below.  Please make your arrangements as soon as possible because space is limited, and the guaranteed hotel rate is available only until Monday, October 5.

Registration

To register for the meeting and/or dinner, please visit our registration site at www.ici.org/reg/cpo.  When registering, please indicate in the online form any topics you would like to discuss at the meeting or questions you may have. 

Hotel Reservations

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hotel Monaco (225 North Wabash Avenue, Chicago, IL 60601) for the night of October 26 at a rate of $269.00.  You may make your reservation online at Investment Company Institute.  Alternatively, you may call the hotel at 1-800-546-7866 and mention the Investment Company Institute to receive the discounted rate.  Due to the limited number of rooms, we urge you to make your reservation as soon as possible.  Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance to avoid penalty.

Committee Dinner 

An informal dinner for meeting attendees will be held on Monday, October 26 at 6:30 pm at Piccolo Sogno Duo (340 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60654).  Attendees staying at the hotel may wish to gather in the lobby for the Monaco’s complimentary wine reception, which takes place from

5-6 pm, and then walk to the restaurant.  The dinner charge for each participant will be $105.00.  Should you need to cancel your registration for the dinner, please do so no later than October 20 to ensure that you will receive a refund.
