RE: NOTICE OF MEETING - OCTOBER 3 & 4, 1991

A meeting of the Board of Governors has been scheduled for
Thursday, October 3, 1991 at 10:00 am. The meeting will be held
at the Madison Hotel located at 15th and M Streets, Washington,
DC 20005.
On the preceding evening, October 2, 1991, the Board will
hold a reception and dinner at the Institute in honor of our
retiring President, David Silver. The reception will start
at 6:30 pm in the National Georgraphic Society Dining Room,
1st Floor, 1600 M Street, NW, and the dinner will commence at
7:30 pm in the Institute's Conference Room at the same location.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Madison Hotel.
Please call (202) 862-1600 and make your reservations as soon as
possible as the cut-off date for reservations is September 16,
1991. Be sure and state that the rooms are reserved in the name
of the Investment Company Institute.
This memo is also advance notice that the winter Board of
Governors meeting will be held January 28-30, 1991 at the Four
Seasons Resort, Nevis, West Indies.
Please indicate in the space provided below whether or not
you plan to attend the dinner and/or meeting and return the form
to the Institute.
