RE: USE OF FUNDS COMPUTER COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK

As you know, the Institute maintains a computer communi-
cations network with its members. The network is designed to
give members access to a great deal of useful information while
also providing a convenient means to transmit regular statistical
data to the Institute. The attached issue of portfolio describes
this system in more detail.
We have found that FUNDS is used a great deal by most of
the large fund groups, but much less by smaller groups. We
suspect some of the reasons for this disparity but would greatly
appreciate receiving your responses/suggestions on the attached
questionnaire which will help us design a system more suitable
to the needs and realities of smaller fund groups.
