As you know, the SEC recently proposed new reporting requirements for registered investment companies and registered investment advisers. [1] The Institute has scheduled conference calls to discuss the different elements of the SEC’s proposal, including proposed Form N-PORT, proposed Form N-CEN, and proposed rule 30e-3. On Thursday, June 25 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. the Institute’s Accounting/Treasurers Committee will hold a conference call to discuss possible comments on the proposed changes to Regulation S-X.
The attachment to this memorandum summarizes the proposed changes to Regulation S-X and lists the related questions for commenters included in the proposal. We plan to use the attached summary and related questions to collect member feedback during the June 25 conference call.
