TO: VARIABLE INSURANCE PRODUCTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 15-15 RE: IN-PERSON MEETING OF THE VARIABLE INSURANCE PRODUCTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON JULY 1, 2015 - PRELIMINARY AGENDA ATTACHED
The next meeting of the Variable Insurance Products Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., 12th Floor, Washington, DC. The meeting will begin at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time in the 12th Floor Conference Room and should conclude no later than 2:30 p.m. Lunch will be served. Please note that this is an in-person meeting and participation by telephone will not be permitted.
We are pleased to have several guest speakers joining us for the meeting. Bill Kotapish, Assistant Director of the SEC’s Division of Investment Management, will be joining us to discuss recent SEC proposals and initiatives impacting variable insurance products. Mary Jane Wilson-Bilik, Susan Krawcyk, and Eric Arnold of Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP, will be joining us to discuss recent regulatory developments impacting variable insurance products.
