RE: NASAA COMMITTEE MEETING IN BOSTON ON JUNE 29, 1991

As we have previously informed you, for the past several
months the NASAA Investment Company Registration/Trading
Practices Committee has been working on proposed recommendations
with respect to state regulation of contractual plans to submit
to the membership of NASAA at the NASAA Fall Conference in
October.
The Committee will be meeting in Boston on Saturday, June
29, 1991, at the law offices of Hale & Dorr, 60 State Street, to
finalize the Committee's proposed recommendations. The Committee
has invited industry to comment on its recommendations during the
open session of the meeting which will be from 10:00 a.m. to
