Information about upcoming meetings and events for ICI’s International Committee in May 2015 is provided below. ICI’s General Membership Meeting (GMM) will be held this year at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel on Wednesday, May 6 through Friday, May 8.
Monday, May 4th
International Committee Meeting: ICI’s International Committee will hold a meeting from 1–3:30 p.m. on Monday, May 4th at the Institute’s offices, 1401 H Street, NW, 12th Floor, Washington, DC. Lunch will be available beginning at 12:30 p.m. A detailed agenda will be provided at a later date; however, we encourage you to register at your earliest convenience at www.ici.org/reg/intl.
International Committee Dinner: The annual dinner for International Committee members and international guests attending GMM will be held on the evening of Monday, May 4th. The dinner will be held at the District Kitchen Restaurant, 2606 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20008 beginning at 6:30 p.m. (walking distance from the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel and the Woodley Park-Zoo metro stop). Tuesday, May 5th
ICI/EFAMA Joint Meeting: The annual joint meeting of ICI’s International Committee and the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) will be held on Tuesday, May 5th in the Institute’s David Silver Conference Room (DSCR), 1401 H Street, NW, 12th Floor, Washington, DC. Member associations of the International Investment Funds Association are also invited to join this meeting. The meeting will take place from 9:00 a.m. until approximately 2:00 p.m. Breakfast will be available beginning at 8:30 a.m. and lunch will be served during the meeting. A detailed draft agenda will be sent at a later time. Please register for the joint meeting at www.ici.org/reg/efama.
Wednesday, May 6t h – Friday, May 8th
General Membership Meeting and Other Conferences: GMM, as well as the Mutual Funds Compliance Programs Conference, the Operations and Technology Conference and the IDC’s Fund Directors Workshop will be held on May 6-8 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. Like last year, attendees that register for GMM will have access to GMM as well as the other conferences. This combination of events provides exceptional opportunities to hear from experts and industry leaders on a variety of topics. Confirmed speakers include Mary Jo White, Chair of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission; Walter W. Bettinger II, President and CEO of Charles Schwab Corporation; Indra Nooyi, Chairman and CEO of PepsiCo; and Admiral James Stavridis, USN (Retired), Supreme Allied Commander Europe, Commander of the U.S. European Command.
